However inviting Langeoog’s dunes might appear to mountain bikers, they’re strictly off limits. Biking is on-the-path only as there is a rigorous and necessary program of dune preservation. That said, there are lots of brick paths through the dunes, not especially crowded even in the high season. Biking to the end of Langeoog takes you by an old Meierei, or dairy farm, a place for people to congregate and enjoy refreshments.
