The town of Langeoog offers all the amenities and a vacation here could hardly be called “roughing it.”As well as as selection of hotels, many of the residences are set up with guest cottages and apartments. We stayed in one such apartment, and except for a couple of restaurant meals we used its well-equipped kitchen to prepare food from the bakeries and grocery stores in town. A couple of the hotels offer an “internet café,” i.e., a room with a computer set up in the corner which provided us the opportunity to keep up with e-mail. Presumably if there were more demand there would be more computers. Most people probably want to relax on the beach or go for a bike ride and forget computers for a while.
