Millingerwaard
is a special place.
Besides sandy riverside beaches, it is home to Polish ponies and Scottish Galloway
cattle — not “wild” but sleeping rough and living naturally.
It is also home to Millinger Theetuin (pronounced tay-town and meaning
tea garden), where you can take a break in your hike with tea and cookies amidst
sculpture, greenery, and, typically, Chinese classical music.
