La Chapelle de Notre-Dame de Bonsecours stands prominently perched atop the cliff to the east of downtown Dieppe. Constructed in 1876 and thus less ancient than the churches in town. it was originally an isolated place of pilgrimage. Now surrounded by homes, it is the parish church of Neuville les Dieppe. It is dedicated to seafarers and there are many comemorative plaques placed by relatives of those lost at sea.

There are steps leading up to the chapel from Quai de la Marne, which is quite near the ferry terminal. As you can see from the photo above, the chapel is a good vantage point for enjoying the sunset.
